FAQs
Q1: What is the actual weight capacity per shelf and the whole unit? Is the load rating reliable?
A: Each shelf holds up to 620 lbs under even distribution, and the complete 5-tier unit supports a maximum 3100 lbs total load. Built with 14-gauge thickened cold-rolled steel uprights and reinforced dual crossbeams, our load data is tested per industrial standards with 20% safety redundancy. It safely stores heavy tools, tires, cargo pallets and mechanical parts without sagging or permanent deformation.
Q2: How long does assembly take? Do I need special tools or extra help?
A: Our bolt-free snap-in locking design allows 1 adult to finish full assembly in 15–20 minutes. The package includes all numbered hardware, a detailed illustrated manual for step-by-step guidance. No drilling, no power tools or extra manpower required — you can set it up straight out of the box.
Q3: Can I adjust the shelf heights? What is the smallest adjustment interval?
A: All shelves are fully adjustable increments. You can reposition any shelf up or down without tools to fit storage bins, rolling toolboxes, power equipment and other items of varying heights. The modular design also allows removing shelves entirely for tall items like ladders or lawn mowers.
Q4: Will this shelving rust in a damp garage, basement or covered outdoor shed?
A: The entire steel frame undergoes phosphating pretreatment followed by high-temperature electrostatic powder coating, passing 48-hour salt spray testing for corrosion and rust resistance. It performs reliably in damp garages, basements, covered outdoor sheds and climate-controlled warehouses. Prolonged direct exposure to rain is not recommended.
Q5: What scenarios is this heavy duty shelving suitable for?
A: This industrial-grade unit works for both residential and commercial use: home garages, repair workshops, basements, retail stockrooms, commercial warehouses, logistics centers and factory raw material areas. It organizes power tools, auto parts, tires, inventory boxes, bulk goods and office supplies — it is the ideal upgrade from light-duty wire shelving.
Q6: Is the unit stable when fully loaded? Does it need to be anchored to the floor?
A: The uprights and integrated crossbeam structure create a low center of gravity and strong lateral stability. For normal household use, it stands stably on its own. For industrial full-load scenarios or seismic zones, we include free floor anchor bolts and an anti-tip kit for permanent fixation and maximum safety.
Q7: How is this different from cheap wire shelving or basic light-duty shelves?
A: Typical light-duty wire shelves only hold 100–300 lbs per shelf, bend easily under uneven loads and have a 2–3 year service life. Our heavy-duty unit features solid reinforced decking, 2× thicker uprights and a rigid frame, delivering 3–5× the load capacity. It is built for 10+ years of industrial use with near-zero maintenance.
Q8: How is the item packaged? What if parts are damaged or missing in transit?
A: Each unit is packed in compact reinforced cartons with corner protectors . All parts are numbered for quick inventory. If you receive damaged, deformed or missing parts, contact us within 48 hours and we will ship free replacements immediately — no return required.
Q9: What warranty do you offer? Is there local after-sales support?
A: We provide a 2-year warranty for the main steel frame. Our after-sales team responds within 24 business hours, covering assembly guidance, part replacement and usage consultation.
